Thomas W. Farrell has been practicing law since 1997. Mr. Farrell is AV® Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell ™.  He handles all aspects of litigation and trial work including construction defect, complex commercial litigation, wrongful death, personal injury, general liability, toxic torts, product liability, automobile accidents and motor carrier liability, and real property disputes.

Prior to joining Smith Knowles, Mr. Farrell was a senior partner with an Orlando, Florida insurance defense trial firm handling their complex trial matters. He has also worked for major insurance carriers as in-house trial counsel handling wrongful death and personal injury matters.  Throughout Mr. Farrell's legal career he has tried over 70 jury trials and written over 60 appeals.

One of twelve children, Mr. Farrell enjoys spending time with his family, wife, and son, and enjoys living in his adopted home of Utah. During college, law school, and while serving as an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Farrell worked as a VIP Tour Guide for Walt Disney World.
